It is the most comfortable time for us to listen songs, see social media feeds, check tomorrow's weather and so on. But, is it advisable to use smartphone while you are going to sleep? Damages your eyes
Throughout the day we will be exposed to sun, which has full spectrum light and it may affect our eyes. During night if we use smartphones, it will be emitting blue light which is full spectrum light. This will cause damage to our eyes.
Before one month we had came across a news that a lady got 500 holes in her retina because she had used mobile during night times without room light.
Some research has shown that there may be a link between using mobile late night and cataracts. It is not proven.
Using mobile during late night may cause loss of central vision.
Interferes your sleep
Blue light will disrupts the production of melatonin. Melatonin is a harmone which control sleep cycles. If it is not produced in correct proportion then it will cause loss of sleep. This may lead to heath issues like heart disease, anxiety, weight gain etc.
Causes Cancer
Melatonin is also an antioxidant which is necessary to increase your immunity against cancer cells. If melatonin is produced less then it will reduce the immunity and cause cancer.
Don't keep your mobile near your head while sleeping. It increases the chance of cancer.
