Samsung has confirmed it's Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei it's Huawei Mate X. Now OPPO has confirmed that it is working on Foldable Smartphone. The company's VP Brian Shen has posted several photos of Foldable Smartphone.
The design looks similar to the Huawei Mate X. But it looks larger than the normal 8 inches Smartphone. When we fold it will be a smartphone when it's open it will look like a tablet with a large screen.
There is a hinge so that the phone can be folded easily. A recent patent from OPPO shows that there will be a popup camera but it's not there in the image. There is a place for secondary microphone only. There is a large bezel around the screen. People nowadays hate large bezel around the screen.
On the back, you get a smaller screen. Dual camera is present with dual flash. There is 'Designed by OPPO' branding below the camera.
He also said that there won't be any huge improvement in user experience. If there is a huge demand we will plan for mass production.
