Xiaomi creates new Guinness World Record with largest animated mobile phone mosaic

     Xiaomi at the launch of Mi Play smartphone today achieved a new Guinness World Record by building largest animated mobile phone mosaic using Mi Play smartphone in China. After creating Guinness World Record by building the largest light mosaic (logo) in the world, back in September and inauguration over 500 Mi Stores simultaneously at the exact time in November.

     This was already done using 504 mobile phones. Xiaomi breaks this record by using 1008 mobile phones to form a Christmass tree pattern. Thus it achieved the new Guinness World Record. Xiaomi said that it took two weeks of preparation. It started building the 7.9-meter-high Christmass tree mobile phone mosaic at 4AM and it was completed by 4PM.

     Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun said that when he arrived at the venue, he realized how complicated it was. The whole process required simultaneous control of more than a thousand mobile phones and required playing Christmas videos.

     We know that before one month OnePlus had made a new World Record for Maximum Unboxing of Mobile phones. That was pretty cool and it gave chance to its community members and fans to participate in the event. But Xiaomi is making World Records with its technicians and engineers. It sounds like it doesn't care about its fans and community members.
